The Philippine men's national volleyball team will be making history, as they debut in the 2025 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship right at home.

They're only the third nation to host and debut in the same year.

This is considered to be one of the stronger lineups for the Philippines, bannered by top spikers Bryan Bagunas and Marck Espejo. They are led by Italian coach Angiolino Frigoni.

The team had an extensive build-up, clinching bronze medal finishes in the SEA V.League and getting tune-ups from the likes of Portugal.

Can the Philippines set a date with destiny and make headway in Pool A against Tunisia, Iran, and Egypt?
