The victory lifted PLDT to a 7-1 record, while Choco Mucho slipped to 3-5 in the standings.
PLDT will next face the Nxled Chameleons on Thursday, where another win could officially secure the top seed, setting up a qualifying-round matchup against the No. 4-ranked team.
