Alas Pilipinas are back on the court, hungry for redemption as they face African powerhouse Egypt in their second Pool A assignment at the 2025 FIVB Men’s World Championship.

After a tough debut against Tunisia, the Filipinos aim to turn lessons into results against the reigning African champions, who are coming off a stunning four-set victory over Iran.

The world no. 89 Philippines will bank on star spikers Bryan Bagunas and Marck Espejo, while also hoping for more production from Leo Ordiales, Peng Taguibolos, and Owa Retamar.

The stage is once again set at the Mall of Asia Arena, with the home crowd ready to rally behind the national squad as they look to break through with a historic win.
