TNT is loading up as the PBA Season 50 looms. Mike Nieto, who joined the team in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup playoffs, is ready to run it back with the Tropang 5G.
Vacation is really over for TNT.
Just days after coming off a much-deserved respite in Hawaii, the Tropang 5G have started making moves ahead of PBA Season 50.
On Monday, TNT and Mike Nieto agreed to a one-year extension according to TMG head PJ Pilares.
“We’re happy to share that we have signed Mike Nieto a new deal with TNT Tropang 5G,” Pilares said.
Nieto first joined TNT earlier this year as an unrestricted free agent after Converge released him ahead of the Philippine Cup playoffs.
Now he looks to help the team anew as the Tropang 5G get set for the PBA’s 50th season starting October 5.
