No. 2 pick - Juan Gomez de Liaño to Converge as the no. 2 pick. The former UP Fighting Maroon comes home after multiple stints abroad, the last being in South Korea with the Seoul SK Knights.

No. 1 pick - Terrafirma takes Geo Chiu first overall in the PBA Season 50 Draft. After his stint with Ateneo, Chiu spent time with international teams, including the Taiwan Mustangs and last season in the B2 with the Ehime Orange Vikings.

The PBA Season 50 Draft rolls around Sunday, Sept. 7, with 122 applicants hopeful to get their numbers called at the Mall of Asia Music Hall.
Terrafirma will take the first crack at the pool which features prominent names like Juan Gomez de Liaño, Jason Brickman, Dalph Panopio, Geo Chiu, Will Gozum, and LJay Gonzales.

After a shocking trade with Phoenix, Converge picks at no. 3 followed by Blackwater, NorthPort, NLEX, Magnolia, Meralco, and the Fuel Masters, who get the eighth pick from the trade with the FiberXers.
Rounding out the first round of the proceedings are San Miguel, Rain or Shine, Ginebra, and the Elasto Painters, who got the twelfth pick from TNT after a Draft-day trade last season.

The much-awaited event ushers in the golden season of the league, which is also set to hold games in Dubai and Bahrain as part of its celebration.
