Chris Miller is just where he’s supposed to be.

Miller said this just moments after San Miguel picked him ninth overall in the PBA Season 50 Draft on Sunday, Sept. 7.

“Wherever I was chosen is where I'm supposed to be. So, I'm taking advantage of that, and I'm looking forward to adding on to the winning culture here,” he said.

The Filipino-American journeyman is aware of the winning culture San Miguel, the winningest franchise in PBA history.

And as 32-year-old journeyman, Miller is hoping his experience playing in countries like Germany, Bosnia, and Iraq can come in handy.

“Anytime you can come to a league and be expected to compete for a championship is great,” he said.

“Whatever role that they want me to do I'm very happy with and I understand that they have a winning culture so I just wanna add to that,” Miller added.

With the Beermen, it looks like the 6-foot-2’s game can fit like a glove.

Miller can shoot from anywhere in the court. Lest fans forget, San Miguel loves surrounding eight-time June Mar Fajardo with snipers.

His game will be tested as the Beermen are set to defend their Philippine Cup title when the season rolls around on October 5.

“I'm very excited to be a part of this team. I'm just really looking forward to getting it going,” he said.
