Here's what you need to know when going to the PSC track ovals.

Time open: 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily

The track ovals at the Philippine Sports Complex in Pasig, the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, and the Teacher's Camp in Baguio are open every day from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This allows students and employees to enjoy the track for free after school and after work.

These are subject to change though, especially when there are football matches happening in Manila.

Why just in the afternoon and evening though? Ideally, mornings have been prioritized for national athletes and their training.

PSC track oval in Pasig: How to enter and other must-know

Located near the PhilSports Arena, formerly known as ULTRA, runners are required to enter their names and address at the main gate and for entry in the oval itself.

Toilets are available in the area, also allowing for people to change their clothes.

There are no bag drops or storage lockers, though Runners though usually drop and leave their things at the bleachers, at the field, or beside the track.

Guards are present at the stands, while the track is well-lit, ensuring a level of security.

However, runners should know that there is no water station or convenience store in the area so they have to bring their own. Parking is also limited.

Running etiquette: Where to run

Casual runners should take note of their pace when going on the track oval. The running direction should be counter-clockwise.

The inner lanes are set for the faster runners, while the outer lanes are free for those who have a more relaxed pace or are walking. When slowing down, runners should ease into the outer lanes—while checking over the shoulder to avoid bumping into others.

In short, these tracks are free for all, safe, and people can get a feel of what it's like to run in a proper venue.
