Coast-to-coast: Pacers top Thunder in Finals rematch; Celtics win 2OT classic

Kevin Durant is closing in on the top 10 of the all-time three-pointers leaderboard, while the Pacers won an NBA Finals rematch with the Thunder in Saturday's (PH time) NBA slate.

DURANT REACHES MILESTONE; PACERS BEAT THUNDER IN FINALS REMATCH 

  • Houston Rockets (27-16) def. Detroit Pistons (32-11), 111-104: Scoring 32 points and moving past Jason Terry for 11th on the all-time three-point list, Kevin Durant helped the Rockets snap the Pistons’ streak and reclaim their winning form.

  • Indiana Pacers (11-35) def. OKC Thunder (37-9), 117-114: In the second of their NBA Finals rematch this season, Andrew Nembhard put up 27 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds as the Pacers handed the champion Thunder a rare home loss.

  • Atlanta Hawks (22-25) def. Phoenix Suns (27-18), 110-103: Jalen Johnson dominated with 23 points and tied a career-high 18 rebounds, steering the Hawks to capitalize Devin Booker’s abrupt exit to beat the Suns.

Booker had already piled up 31 points when an apparent ankle injury forced him out in the closing moments of the third quarter.

  • Cleveland Cavaliers (26-20) def. Sacramento Kings (12-34), 123-118: Donovan Mitchell unloaded 32 points in 34 minutes as the Cavaliers downed the Kings, picking up their fourth win in their last five games. 

CELTICS TOP NETS IN 20T; BEY FIRES 39 FOR PELS 

  • Boston Celtics (28-16) def. Brooklyn Nets (12-31), 130-126: Jaylen Brown registered 27 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds for his fifth career triple-double, pushing the Celtics past the Nets in a double overtime thriller.

  • New Orleans Pelicans (11-36) def. Memphis Grizzlies (18-25), 133-127: Saddiq Bey erupted for 19 of his 36 points in a blistering fourth-quarter performance that powered the Pelicans’ comeback win over the Grizzlies.

 

  • Denver Nuggets (31-15) def. Milwaukee Bucks (18-26), 102-100: The Nuggets ended their two-game skid after surviving a late charge from the Bucks, though the victory came at a cost as Aaron Gordon left the game with a hamstring injury.

  • Toronto Raptors (28-19) def. Portland Trail Blazers (23-23), 110-98: Brandon Ingram, Sandro Mamukelashvili, and Immanuel Quickley poured in a combined 62 points as the Raptors notched their third straight win, snapping the Trail Blazers’ four-game streak.
