MPL Philippines Season 17 will commence on Friday, March 20, at the Victoria Sports Tower in Quezon City.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Philippines (MPL PH), the country's biggest and longest-running esports league, officially launches Season 17 on 20 March, marking the beginning of a defining chapter for Filipino esports.
Starting on March 20, 2026, the league introduces a new battle cry, a new home venue at Victoria Sports Tower, and welcomes its first overseas player imports and partner, signifying its consistent growth as the game celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Rallying fans under the battle cry "Palag na 'To!", the 17th Season of MPL PH reflects the fearless, competitive spirit deeply rooted in Filipino gaming culture.
Drawn from a familiar expression used before stepping into a match or challenge, palag embodies confidence, resilience, and the readiness to face any opponent regardless of the odds.
More than a call to battle, the campaign captures the mindset that defines MPL PH, a league built on grit, ambition, and the collective drive of its teams, players, and community to keep pushing forward into the next chapter of Filipino esports.
Palag Na 'To!
Starting March 20, 2026, the home of the MLBB world champions moves to Victoria Sports Tower, located in South Triangle, Epifanio de los Santos Ave., Diliman, Quezon City. As the Philippines' largest indoor sports gym, Victoria Sports Tower marks a significant upgrade for MPL PH's live competition environment and fan experience.
The move reflects the continued growth and professionalisation of MLBB esports in the country, providing a larger, purpose-built venue capable of hosting bigger live audiences and more immersive esports entertainment.
Season 17 also marks a milestone in MPL PH's globalisation journey with the introduction of its first international player imports from Indonesia, namely Clayton "Savero" Kuswanto, and Sultan "AeronnShikii" Muhammad.
Their arrival reflects the league's growing international pull and positions MPL PH as a regional hub where global talent converges, further elevating the Philippines' role as a standard-setter in the worldwide MLBB esports ecosystem.
Lee Viloria, PH Esports Business Development and Partnerships Head at MOONTON Games, said: "MLBB has always belonged to the Filipino community. For the past 10 years, the passion of our players and fans has turned the Philippines into one of the strongest MLBB regions in the world. Season 17 is our way of honoring that journey, from our Opening Ceremony to welcoming international talent and moving into a new home for the league. It's a moment that celebrates our history, but more importantly, shows how much bigger the future of MPL Philippines can be. This season, we're excited to see our teams push the boundaries of skill and strategy, embodying the spirit of Palag Na To. With the unwavering support of our partners and stakeholders, we aim to bring fans an even bigger and more thrilling esports experience that truly goes beyond the limits."
The MPL PH Season 17 Regular Season runs from 20 March to 17 May 2026, featuring eight weeks of intense competition among the country's top MLBB teams.
Matches will take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with teams competing in a double round-robin format as they battle for crucial standings points and a coveted spot in the playoffs.
The season opener will feature a marquee matchup between Aurora Gaming (RORA) and Team Liquid Philippines (TLPH), the reigning champions of the M7 World Championship and the MLBB Mid Season Cup at the Esports World Cup 2025, respectively.
