Coach Dexter Clamor turns dream into reality with Next Level VolleyCamp
Former Cignal men's coach Dexter Clamor launches the Next Level VolleyCamp.

A long-overdue dream comes to life as former Cignal head coach Dexter Clamor launches Next Level VolleyCamp in Metro Manila.

The camp positions itself as a premium volleyball community, offering an unmatched training experience designed to bridge the gap between grassroots enthusiasts and professional-level performance.

“Passion project ko talaga siya. As an educator by profession, bago ako nag-professional coach, talagang plano ko na siyang gawin. Wala lang time since busy sa liga and commitment sa national team,” said Clamor, a six-time champion coach in the Spikers’ Turf.

Officially launched last February 21, 2026, Clamor revealed Cignal’s untimely leave of absence from Spikers’ Turf ended up being the perfect opportunity to bring his dream project to life.

“When we were told about Cignal’s disbandment, it came to my mind na this is the perfect time to do it,” Clamor said.

“It was something that we really talked about for years kasi para din sa mga players na magre-retire na may pupuntahan sila na work or gagawin.”

Next Level VolleyCamp aims to bridge the gap between fans and their idols by including elite men’s volleyball players on its roster of coaches.

The camp encourages aspiring athletes to learn directly from the country’s best, absorbing their knowledge, work ethic, and passion for the sport.

Some of the top names among the coaches include John Paul Bugaoan, Van Tracy Prudenciado, Lloyd Josafat, Wendel Miguel, Alfred Valbuena, Sandy Romero, Vince Lorenzo, Jared Schnake, and EJ Casaña.

“I am very much thankful to them. Pamilya na kami eh, and having them supporting this project of mine, saying yes to giving time to coach and share their knowledge also in volleyball, sobrang nakakataba ng puso,” said Clamor, who is also an assistant coach for Alas Pilipinas Men.

Members of the Cignal Women’s Team were present during the official launch, showing their support for the Next Level coaches and reinforcing the camp’s vision.

Their presence highlighted the camp as a serious platform for skill development, elite mentorship, and professional growth—an opportunity that volleyball enthusiasts should consider seriously.

The community has established its home at the MIA Sports Center in Pasay City, opening its doors to aspiring volleyball players across three age categories: 12-18 years old, 19-25 years old, and 26 years old and above.
