The PLDT High Speed Hitters are back in the win column after overpowering the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles in straight sets, 25-23, 25-23, 25-13, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Saturday, February 28, at the FilOil Centre in San Juan.

Coming off their first loss in the conference, the High Speed Hitters cleaned up on their errors to take down the Thunderbelles, who had head coach Jerry Yee back on the sidelines after missing the past four outings.

After close battles in the first two sets, PLDT pulled away early in the third for a 14-6 lead, capped off by three-straight points from Kianna Dy.

From there, the High Speed Hitters dominated the rest of the way to improve to 4-1, still in second behind the Cignal Super Spikers due to points difference.

Meanwhile, the Thunderbelles remain at the bottom of the standings with a 1-5 record.

Kianna Dy led the way with 16 points on 15 attacks and one block.

Up next for PLDT will be the Farm Fresh Foxies on Thursday, March 5, at the same venue.
