NU is coming off a 25-22, 21-25, 17-25, 20-25 loss to league-leading FEU in a Finals rematch that handed the Bulldogs their first defeat in three matches this season.

After taking the opening set, National U struggled to sustain its momentum and absorbed the four-set loss that lasted one hour and 45 minutes.

The setback dropped the five-time defending champions to 2-1, tied with UP and UST for third to fifth place in the standings.

Buds Buddin paced the Bulldogs with 21 points built on 17 spikes, three aces, and a block.

Leo Ordiales added 15 points, while Jade Disquitado chipped in 13 markers and 14 receptions.

Eager to bounce back, NU looks to assert its dominance over UP, a team it has defeated 13 straight times dating back to Season 78.
