Fifi Sharma embraced her trademark swagger, powering the Akari Chargers through a gritty five-set win over the Cignal Super Spikers in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Fifi Sharma didn’t just make her presence felt on the stat sheet—she brought the fire back with her.
It was Sharma’s signature swagger that helped define the Akari Chargers’ five-set thriller over the Cignal Super Spikers, 25-23, 20-25, 11-25, 25-23, 15-12, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Saturday, February 28.
From staredowns to chest bumps, Sharma went toe-to-toe with Cignal in what quickly turned into a full-blown "swagfest," feeding off the energy inside the FilOil Centre in San Juan.
And when the dust settled, she backed it all up with 16 points built on 11 attacks and five blocks to earn Player of the Game honors.
"Ang saya ng laro kapag ganun 'yung energy—when you can see the passion," Sharma said during the post-game press conference. "Sobrang nakakagana 'yung ganitong atmosphere na sobrang lively and sobrang ingay."
For Sharma, those moments helped fuel Akari's push as the Chargers climbed to a 2-3 record in the standings.
"Super yes," she said when asked if those moments gave her extra motivation. "'Yun 'yung nakakapag-contribute sa energy ko sa loob ng court. 'Yun 'yung nagbibigay sa akin ng purpose to play for my teammates."
The former DLSU standout added that her intensity often comes from wanting to step up when games turn physical or emotional.
"Ayoko silang naaapi," Sharma shared with a laugh. "Sige, bigay niyo na sa akin 'to. Ako na 'yung magra-rawr. I love that."
While the theatrics caught attention, Sharma was quick to stress that the intensity stays inside the taraflex.
"I feel like it depends sa playing style mo as a player," she said. "Siguro nagkataon lang na La Salle players, may ganun talaga."
"Pero at the end of the day, walang personalan. After the game, we're all friends. Pero pag game, sige, magpuksaan tayo."
Next up for Sharma and the Chargers will be the Capital1 Solar Spikers next Saturday, March 7.
