The Nxled Chameleons continued their offseason rebuild by signing two-time Finals MVP MJ Phillips, veteran outside hitter Myla Pablo, and prized rookie Jules Tolentino.

The trio was available after the Petro Gazz Angels announced a leave of absence from the PVL and released their players into free agency.

Phillips brings experience and a championship pedigree to Nxled’s frontline, having been a consistent force in the league, which led to two Finals MVP plums in just last year alone.

Pablo, a seasoned outside hitter, also joins the Chameleons after years with the Angels. Known for her scoring ability and all-around play, the 32-year-old spiker adds depth and veteran leadership on the wing.

Tolentino, one of the most sought-after young talents from Petro Gazz’s pool, gives Nxled a promising playmaker who orchestrated the team’s Reinforced Conference title run.

Their additions build on Nxled’s offseason momentum that already includes players like Aby Maraño, Jonah Sabete, Ranya Musa, Djanel Cheng, and Aduke Ogunsanya.

After staying near the bottom of the standings in previous conferences, the Chameleons are ready to put themselves into title contention with their offseason signings.

Among the key holdovers from the Ettore Guidetti-coached squad are team captain Chiara Permentilla, Lyann de Guzman, EJ Laure, Jov Fernandez, Lucille Almonte, and Krich Macaslang.
