Jonah Sabete goes from Petro Gazz to Nxled as the Chameleons make their move ahead of the 2026 PVL season.
Jonah Sabete joins the now former Petro Gazz players to find a new home, officially signing with the Nxled Chameleons following the Angels’ decision to take a leave of absence from the PVL.
Sabete’s move comes amid a wave of roster movement triggered by Petro Gazz’s exit, which opened the door for the multi-titled Angels to sign with other PVL teams.
A steady contributor during her time with the Angels, Sabete brings veteran wits and championship experience to the young Chameleons squad.
The 31-year-old opposite hitter first suited up for Petro Gazz from 2018 to 2020 before a brief stint with the now-defunct Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors.
She then returned to the Angels in 2021 and helped fuel three PVL championship runs.

For Nxled, Sabete represents a huge roster pivot as the Chameleons continue to strengthen their lineup ahead of the All-Filipino Conference.
