The Nxled Chameleons added veteran middle blocker Aby Maraño as their latest signing ahead of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Aby Maraño has officially joined the Nxled Chameleons ahead of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference, with the team making the announcement on Tuesday, January 13.
Maraño is the final Chery Tiggo player to find a home after the Crossovers’ exit from the league after their 11 years as a franchise.
The veteran middle blocker brings extensive league experience to the Chameleons, having been a regular presence in the PVL and its predecessor leagues for over a decade.
The 33-year-old Maraño spent the bulk of her recent years with Chery Tiggo, helping the Crossovers reach the playoffs in five of six conferences before their final campaign.
Known primarily for her blocking, court awareness, and on-court communication, Maraño adds stability to Nxled’s middle rotation, which features Krich Macaslang, May Ann Nique, Jeycel Delos Reyes, and Razel Aldea.
Maraño’s signing follows Nxled’s earlier announcement of Jonah Sabete, making her the second notable addition to the Chameleons’ roster amid the league-wide player movement.
