Tots Carlos personified the Creamline Cool Smashers' improving chemistry in their latest win in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Carlos scored 19 points to lead the Cool Smashers to a 25-14, 17-25, 25-18, 25-23 victory over the Galeries Tower Highrisers on Tuesday, March 3, at the FilOil Centre in San Juan.

Bernadeth Pons added 15 points, while Jema Galanza had 12 as Creamline won its fourth straight match to improve to 4-1. In a total team effort, 11 Cool Smashers scored at least one point in the win.

"I think nagiging maganda naman na 'yung rhythm ng team kahit sino naman ipasok sa loob," Carlos said during the post-game press conference. "We trust in coach's system, and we're doing our job."

After dropping the second set, Creamline regained control in the next two frames, even building a commanding 12-1 lead in the fourth.

The Highrisers managed to storm their way back to within a point at 23-24 after Julia Coronel’s back-to-back service aces.

But in the end, the Cool Smashers flexed their proven composure, with Pangs Panaga sealing the victory with a quick attack.

"For me, nag-grow na 'yung team eh. We had a lot of experiences. Hindi naman bago sa'min 'yung ganung situation," Carlos said.

"We really had to go back to the basics and follow the system."

Carlos also commended the 10-time PVL champions for handling the challenge posed by the gritty Galeries Tower squad.

"Maganda 'yung naging pag-handle namin sa situation na 'yun, nalabanan namin siya," she said.

The Highrisers fell to 2-4 despite 12 points from Jean Asis and 11 markers from Erika Deloria.

Up next for Creamline will be the slumping Nxled Chameleons on Saturday, March 7, at the same venue.
