One of the most decorated stars of the franchise, Van Sickle leaves Petro Gazz as a cornerstone of its championship runs, having played a major role in the team’s All-Filipino and Reinforced Conference title victories last year.
A dynamic wing scorer known for her power, athleticism, and two-way impact, Van Sickle collected three Conference MVP awards during her tenure with the Angels, establishing herself as one of the most dominant and consistent players in the league.
At Nxled, Van Sickle immediately becomes a franchise-defining addition. The Chameleons add not only elite firepower to their lineup, but also leadership and championship experience.
Van Sickle will team up with her former Petro Gazz teammates, including MJ Phillips, Myla Pablo, and Jules Tolentino, among others. She will also get to play alongside Nxled's current core of Chiara Permentilla, EJ Carino, Lyann De Guzman, and Krich Macaslang under Italian head coach Ettore Guidetti.
With a proven MVP now leading the charge, the Chameleons take a significant step forward as they reshape their roster for the upcoming All-Filipino Conference.
