The announcement of Chery Tiggo EV's shock PVL departure marks the end of another memorable era in Philippine volleyball.

But it also opens the door to remember the iconic moments that shaped the franchise’s legacy.

From historic championships to unforgettable upsets, the Crossovers carved out a place in PVL history that will endure long after their final match.

Here are key moments that best capture the spirit, grit, and character of the Chery Tiggo EV Crossovers.

1. First-ever pro title in 2021 PVL Open Conference

Chery Tiggo etched its name in history by winning the first-ever PVL championship of the professional era, defeating the Creamline Cool Smashers in a dramatic three-game series inside the Ilocos Norte bubble.

Behind the brilliance of double MVP Jaja Santiago and the steady leadership of Dindin Manabat, the Crossovers completed a run that remains one of the league’s most memorable championship stories.

2. A resurgent run to the 2025 PVL On Tour Finals

After several up-and-down seasons that tested the roster’s depth and resolve, Chery Tiggo EV stormed back into title contention with a Finals appearance in the 2025 PVL On Tour.

Despite falling short in a gripping five-set battle against the PLDT High Speed Hitters, the Crossovers showed that they are still capable of competing for the title.

3. The blockbuster signings of Ara Galang and Aby Maraño

In January 2024, Chery Tiggo made one of the offseason’s biggest splashes by signing veteran superstars Ara Galang and Aby Maraño from F2 Logistics.

The move signaled a renewed push for competitiveness, bringing leadership, defensive strength, and championship experience to the group.

More than their experience, Galang and Maraño brought a different kind of energy and passion that the Crossovers needed.

4. Mylene Paat’s MVP run in 2022 Reinforced Conference

Mylene Paat delivered a masterclass throughout the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference, earning herself the Most Valuable Player and Best Opposite Spiker awards.

She led all local players in scoring with 196 points on a 34.84 percent attack efficiency while ranking among the top 10 blockers and contributing robust defense and consistency.

While the Crossovers came up short in making the Finals, Paat showed that she is truly—when healthy—among the best players in the league.

5. Ending Creamline’s 19-game winning streak in the 2024 All-Filipino Conference

Perhaps one of the biggest shocks of 2024, the Crossovers delivered an inspired performance to sweep the Cool Smashers, ending the latter's dominant 19-match unbeaten run.

In a league where Creamline had long been the gold standard, the upset was seismic. It proved the Crossovers could rise to the moment and take down the top contenders when it matters most.

6. Forcing a decider vs Petro Gazz in the 2024 All-Filipino bronze medal series

The 2024 All-Filipino Conference also featured another testament to Chery Tiggo’s trademark grit.

Down 0–1 in the best-of-three bronze series against the Petro Gazz Angels, the Crossovers punched back with a Game 2 victory, forcing a sudden-death match for the medal.

Even though Game 3 eventually did not materialize, the fight shown by Chery Tiggo — rallying, adjusting, and refusing to fold — encapsulated the spirit that endeared them to fans.

A legacy that lives on

With their PVL chapter now officially closed, the Crossovers leave behind a legacy defined by resilience, breakthroughs, and unforgettable moments.

From bubble glory to stunning upsets, the franchise exits the PVL having reshaped Philippine volleyball history.
