Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo had a special celebration for his 26th birthday—one marked not just by milestones, but by meaningful acts of generosity.

Yulo, along with his girlfriend Chloe, his brother and fellow gymnast Eldrew Yulo, and their family, shared blessings with children through a feeding program at San Jose Parish in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga on February 14—two days ahead of his birthday.

“Maraming salamat Carlos Yulo, Chloe San Jose and family for visiting and helping out with our feeding program… We are so blessed to have an Olympic gold medalist, to share his blessings to the less fortunate children of our parish… God Bless you, we are praying for you and your future endeavors,” parish priest Fr. Jowel Jomarsus Gatus posted on Facebook.

On his actual birthday, February 16, Yulo reflected on another year of life through a heartfelt social media post.

"Salamat Lord sa panibagong taon ng buhay, isa na namang biyaya na buong puso ko pong tinatanggap. Lubos din po akong nagpapasalamat Fr. Jowel sa inyong mainit na pagtanggap at mapagpalang pagbabasbas po sa amin. Maraming salamat po ulit sa Panginoon sa pagkakaloob Niya sa amin ng blessings at pagkakataon na magbahagi ng munting tulong at saya sa inyong banal na simbahan," he wrote.

The blessings continued for Yulo. On Monday, the gymnast graced the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Awards Night at Diamond Hotel Manila, where he was recognized as 2025 Co-Athlete of the Year alongside tennis standout Alex Eala for their remarkable achievements.

Yulo’s latest accolade comes as he continues to solidify his status among the world’s elite gymnasts. After his historic double-gold breakthrough at the Paris Olympics, he powered through the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in South Korea with a fourth straight floor exercise gold, while also picking up bronze medals in parallel bars, vault, and the individual all-around.

He carried that momentum into the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Indonesia last October, claiming the vault crown and adding another bronze in floor exercise—clear evidence that his dominance is no fleeting moment, but a sustained era of excellence.
