2025 PVL Mock Draft: Who’s next after Bella Belen?
Bella Belen headlines the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft as the projected No. 1 pick, with other top prospects expected to make an immediate impact in the league.

With the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft fast approaching, mock draft boards are heating up following the conclusion of the official Draft Combine, which gave coaches and scouts a closer look at the country’s top emerging volleyball talents.

While Bella Belen remains the consensus No. 1 pick, expected to go to the Capital1 Solar Spikers, the rest of the first-round landscape is shaping up to be full of intriguing choices, comebacks, and potential steals.

Here’s a look at the post-Combine projections for the 2025 PVL Mock Draft first round:

1. Capital1 Solar Spikers

Bella Belen | Outside Hitter | National University

The most anticipated pick of the draft, Belen brings explosive scoring, elite defense, and championship experience. She’s a franchise-changing player and a perfect fit for coach Jorge de Brito's rebuilding Solar Spikers.

2. Galeries Tower Highrisers

Jean Asis | Middle Blocker | Far Eastern University

Behind a strong Draft Combine showing, Asis flexed her athleticism and blocking instincts.

With Galeries Tower head coach Lerma Giron already stating that the team is in search of a reliable middle blocker, Asis can immediately provide net protection and long-term upside.

3. Farm Fresh Foxies

Alohi Robins-Hardy | Setter | VK Dukla Liberec

Where else but the Foxies?

The only real question is whether Robins-Hardy will be selected with the third overall pick or will Farm Fresh try to push her to the second round.

4. Nxled Chameleons

Lyann De Guzman | Outside Hitter | Ateneo de Manila University

De Guzman’s all-around game and improved consistency at the Draft Combine solidify her top-five status.

The Chameleons need additional firepower on the wing, and the Ateneo standout delivers just that.

5. ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles

Riza Nogales | Middle Blocker | University of the East

With coach Jerry Yee stating that the Thunderbelles are also looking for a middle blocker, Nogales seems to be the perfect fit for the team alongside Thea Gagate.

Among the best blockers in UAAP Season 87, Nogales’ timing and height make her an ideal long-term piece for ZUS Coffee.

6. Cignal HD Spikers

Alleiah Malaluan | Outside Hitter | De La Salle University

Malaluan brings poise, court smarts, and offensive versatility.

The DLSU standout is expected to cap off the HD Spikers’ offseason revamp as she fits in as a dynamic contributor who can learn from veterans.

7. Choco Mucho Flying Titans

AC Miner | Middle Blocker | Ateneo de Manila University

The Flying Titans need depth across the board, and Miner’s athleticism and versatility make her a great addition to reinforce coach Dante Alinsunurin’s rotation.

8. Chery Tiggo Crossovers

Chenie Tagaod | Outside Hitter | Far Eastern University

A fiery scorer and vocal leader, Tagaod is a solid fit for the Crossovers' energetic core.

Tagaod is expected to provide immediate scoring off the bench or as a spot starter.

9. PLDT High Speed Hitters

Baby Jyne Soreno | Opposite Hitter | De La Salle University

With her length and power, Soreno could eventually step into a starting role.

She adds fresh energy to PLDT’s offensive arsenal, where she will learn under her DLSU “ates” such as Kianna Dy, Majoy Baron, and Kim Fajardo.

10. Akari Chargers

Tia Andaya | Setter | CSM Lugoj

Finding a spot for Fil-Am setter Tia Andaya was quite tricky. After all, most PVL teams already have a stable setter on their lineup.

But with Michelle Cobb reportedly now set up as the Chargers’ assistant team manager, this paves the way for Andaya to be the lead playmaker under head coach Tina Salak.

11. Petro Gazz Angels

Julyana Tolentino | Setter | De La Salle University

The Angels can go many directions with their 11th overall pick. But youth and height should be their ideal selection, which could end up with setter Julyana Tolentino.

Tolentino is arguably the second-best setter in the loaded draft class, and learning under Chie Saet will greatly set her up for a brighter future ahead.

12. Creamline Cool Smashers

Erin Pangilinan | Opposite Hitter/Middle Blocker | National University

Pangilinan finds herself still under coach Sherwin Meneses, as she showed in the Draft Combine that more than her leadership, she is very much a capable scorer for any team that selects her.
