Alohi Robins-Hardy makes her intentions clear: it’s Farm Fresh or nothing ahead of the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft.
Alohi Robins-Hardy has made her message crystal clear ahead of the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft—Farm Fresh and nothing else.
Despite skipping the two-day PVL Draft Combine held last weekend at Paco Arena, the 6-foot-1 setter remains one of the most valued names in this year’s draft class.
Still, Robins-Hardy made sure to air out her stance on where she wants to go.
“When I arrived last year, I made a promise to Tito Frank [Lao] and to Farm Fresh—that’s the only team I will play for,” Robins-Hardy declared. “I signed a five-year contract with them because I believe in what they’re building.”
The 29-year-old, who flew in from Hawai’i last Sunday, explained that her absence at the Combine was due to urgent personal matters in the United States. This includes processing key documents as she transitions to living full-time in the Philippines.
Nevertheless, Alohi's presence looms large in the lead-up to Sunday’s draft at Novotel Manila Araneta City. With Farm Fresh holding the no. 3 overall pick, it is assumed that the spot is hers.

In October 2024, Robins-Hardy signed with the Foxies before the PVL asserted its stance that she must undergo the draft proceedings.
In its statement, the PVL clarified that a memorandum issued in May requires all athletes who haven't played in the league from its professional launch in 2021 through the first conference of 2024 to enter via the Draft.
The league added that it released a list of veteran players eligible for direct hiring last June—a list that did not include Robins-Hardy.

Robins-Hardy later served as an assistant coach for both Farm Fresh and the UP Fighting Maroons after being sidelined last season.
But should any other PVL team decide to take a chance on the talented setter, Robins-Hardy had this to say.
“If another team drafts me, I’ll return to the U.S. and continue my career overseas,” she said. “I’m not just here to play anywhere. I came back for Farm Fresh. That’s where my heart is.”
