The Creamline Cool Smashers put up an impressive outing to take down the Petro Gazz Angels in four sets in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.
The Creamline Cool Smashers had to fight tooth and nail to secure their first win in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference after staving off the Petro Gazz Angels in four sets, 25-20, 25-21, 17-25, 25-20, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday, October 14.
The Cool Smashers improved to 1-1 in Pool B, bouncing back after dropping their opening match against the Akari Chargers.
American import Courtney Schwan took matters into her own hands by putting up 27 points, 13 of which came in the fourth set, to go along with 16 excellent receptions.
Creamline will go for back-to-back wins on Saturday, October 18, as the defending champion battles the Galeries Tower Highrisers at the Capital Arena in Ilagan City.
Meanwhile, Petro Gazz will be back next Thursday, October 23, against the Akari Chargers at the FilOil EcoOil Arena.
