The Criss Cross King Crunchers strengthened their already deep frontline by signing middle blocker Lloyd Josafat ahead of the 2026 Spikers' Turf Open Conference.

The King Crunchers officially welcomed the 6-foot-2 net defender on Thursday, February 19, proving to be another upgrade to an already formidable frontline.
“He’s got the hang time, we’ve got the crunch. Lloyd Josafat is here to keep the defense crisp and the net secure,” the team said in a Facebook post announcing the signing.
Josafat arrives with a strong resume after stints with Cignal Super Spikers and Alas Pilipinas Men.
At Criss Cross, he joins fellow big men Kim Malabunga, Gian Glorioso, Poy Colinares, Rex Intal, and Lucca Mamone.
The 26-year-old former University of the East standout is coming off a productive Reinforced Conference, where he finished as the league’s third-best blocker with 19 kill blocks, averaging 0.73 per set.

Criss Cross also shored up its playmaking depth by signing setter Elijah Kim, a former Alas Pilipinas pool member.
Kim joins a setter corps that already includes Adrian Villados, Eco Adajar, and Ish Polvorosa, who missed the previous Open Conference while recovering from a knee injury.
Meanwhile, the King Crunchers also announced internal adjustments, with setter Geuel Asia and winger Krung Arbasto transitioning from the active roster to roles within the coaching staff.
