Nine world-class athletes are set to compete in the Atletang Ayala World Pole Vault Challenge, bringing Olympic and World Championship pedigree to Manila this September 20 and 21.
Organized through the partnership of Ayala Corporation and EJ Obiena’s Atletang Ayala initiative, the event will showcase some of the sport’s top-ranked names, many active on the Diamond League circuit.

- Ersu Sasma (Turkey)
- World No. 5, European Championships bronze medalist, Olympic finalist, and World Championships top 8 performer
- Menno Vloon (Netherlands)
- World No. 6, European Indoor champion, three-time World Indoor top 8, and two-time European Team Championships winner
- EJ Obiena (Philippines)
- World No. 7, World Championships silver and bronze medalist, Olympic finalist, and Asian Games champion
- Thibaut Collet (France)
- World No. 12, European U23 bronze medalist with top 8 finishes at the World, European, and World Indoor Championships
- Ben Broeders (Belgium)
- World No. 13, European U23 champion with top 8 finishes at the World and World Indoor Championships
- Austin Miller (USA)
- World No. 14, USA National Champion
- Piotr Lisek (Poland)
- World No. 15, World Championships silver and double bronze medalist, two-time World Indoor bronze medalist, and two-time Olympic finalist
- Oleg Zernikel (Germany)
- World No. 16, European Championships bronze medalist, World U20 bronze medalist, and World Championships top 8 performer

- World No. 23, Pan American Games winner, NCAA champion, and USA National Indoor champion

The competition will be open to the public, with tickets distributed for free via raffle.
