PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said a committee is currently reviewing the documents sent by NorthPort prospective buyer Pureblends.
Nothing is set in stone yet regarding the sale of the NorthPort franchise.
This was what PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said amid reports that the Batang Pier sold their franchise to Pureblends.
"Wala pang final,” Marcial was quoted as saying in an article posted on the league’s website.
“'Yong letter of intent and other other documents, ipinasa namin sa review committee. Sila ang gagawa ng recommendation.”

Marcial said Pureblends already turned over a letter of intent as well as other undisclosed documents Tuesday, Sept. 2.
A committee will review this transaction before submitting its recommendations to the PBA board.
That being said, the Batang Pier officials will be the ones making the pick in the Season 50 draft set Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Mall of Asia Music Hall.
