Pau Anastacio, La Salle target third straight win vs Adamson in UAAP women’s basketball

Pau Anastacio and the DLSU Lady Archers aim to extend their winning streak to three games as they battle the Adamson Lady Falcons in the UAAP Season 88 women’s basketball tournament on Wednesday, October 22.

After a rocky 0-4 start, La Salle (2-4) has finally found its rhythm, winning back-to-back games capped by a dominant victory over UP in the team's last outing. 

Anastacio led the way in that match with an efficient 18-point outing on 7-of-11 shooting, while Tricia Mendoza provided support.

Now tied with Adamson and UP in the standings, the Lady Archers are determined to wrap up the first round with a statement win that would pull them closer to the Final Four.

However, going up against last year’s bronze medalists will be hardly a walk in the park, especially with Kemi Adeshina pacing the San Marcelino-based squad inside the paint.
