Kemi Adeshina and the Adamson Lady Falcons are determined to close out the first round on a high note as they take on the surging DLSU Lady Archers in the UAAP Season 88 women’s basketball tournament on Wednesday, October 22.

Tip off is set for 10:00 a.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Adamson (2-4) will look to regroup quickly after a humbling loss to league-leading UST, as they try to break away from the lower half of the standings.

Adeshina, who finished with 10 points in their previous outing, is expected to step up for the Lady Falcons alongside Elaine Etang and Cheska Apag.

Head coach Jed Colonia’s squad knows the importance of this matchup, with both teams tied in the standings at 2-4.

A victory would give the Lady Falcons a much-needed boost heading into the second round and reignite their Final Four hopes.

But standing in their way is a streaking La Salle squad that has won two straight games — a challenge that Adamson hopes to meet with focus and grit.
