Tine Cayabyab and the NU Lady Bulldogs look to solidify their hold of a top-2 spot as they take on the struggling UE Lady Warriors in the UAAP Season 88 women’s basketball tournament on Wednesday, October 22.

Gametime is 8:00 a.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The defending champions (5-1) are fresh off a hard-fought win over Ateneo, where Cayabyab delivered 19 points to keep NU’s title defense on track.

With another win, the Lady Bulldogs can officially close the first round in solo second behind unbeaten UST.

Head coach DA Olan’s squad is expected to continue leaning on Cayabyab’s offensive prowess, with support from Ann Pingol and Angel Surada, as NU eyes another dominant outing.

Meanwhile, UE (0-6) is desperate to avoid a winless start but will have to overcome NU’s deep and battle-tested roster to do so.
