Kianna Dy downplayed talk of “Point City” returning despite back-to-back double-digit games, saying both she and PLDT still have work to do.
Kianna Dy may be back to putting up double-digit performances, but the PLDT star insists that “Point City” is still a work in progress.
Dy continued her strong return in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference, following up a 20-point outing against Capital1 with 14 markers in the High Speed Hitters’ four-set win over the Akari Chargers on Thursday, February 19.

While the numbers suggest a familiar scoring rhythm, Dy was quick to temper expectations.
"I guess I could say that," Dy told One Sports when asked about her back-to-back double-digit games. "I think, hindi pa 'yun, 'yun. I still have a lot to work on."
Is "Point City" back?
It’s been a while since fans got to see the 30-year-old opposite hitter putting up consistent numbers since her lengthy knee injury.
Now injury-free and having plenty of momentum, Dy emphasized that the focus still goes beyond individual production and more toward tightening PLDT's overall execution.
"For me, 'yung game namin, it's not super solid," she explained. "Medyo may mga instances na hindi kami 'yun. So, we still have to work on yung galaw namin sa loob kasi mahaba pa 'yung tournament."

That same mindset applies to talk of a full-fledged return of “Point City,” the high-scoring version of Dy that once powered the now-defunct F2 Logistics’ offense.
"Let’s see," she smiled.
"I feel like I can still improve more. And I still have to work on a lot. So, that's what I'm gonna do agad pag-training namin."

Dy will look to continue her strong performances when the High Speed Hitters take on the Cignal Super Spikers on Tuesday, February 24, still at the FilOil Centre in San Juan.
