The Akari Chargers aim to regroup after a straight-sets loss to Cignal as they face the powerhouse Creamline Cool Smashers in their second match of the PVL on Tour.
The Akari Chargers are determined to bounce back quickly as they face powerhouse Creamline Cool Smashers in the second day of the PVL on Tour at the Chavit Coliseum in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Monday, June 23.
Coming off a tough straight-sets defeat to the retooled Cignal HD Spikers, the Chargers are looking to shake off early jitters and build momentum despite still adjusting to a new system under head coach Tina Salak, who was unavailable for the Vigan leg.
Assistant coach Eddieson Orcullo has taken the reins in the meantime.

Veteran spikers Eli Soyud and Grethcel Soltones were bright spots in the loss, scoring 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Akari will once again lean on their experience and leadership as they face a Creamline side that dominated Capital1 in straight sets on opening day.
Despite the early setback, the Chargers are embracing the challenges of the tour, using it as an opportunity to develop cohesion and refine their play under new coaching direction.
The Akari-Creamline match is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
