Alas Pilipinas Women’s stars Bella Belen and Angel Canino couldn’t resist reacting to a viral TikTok featuring men’s national team standouts Josh Ybañez and Kennedy Batas.
Alas Pilipinas Women’s standouts Bella Belen and Angel Canino were quick to join in the fun after a viral TikTok featuring men’s national team players Josh Ybañez and Kennedy Batas drew a playful comparison online.
In the video, Ybañez and Batas were seen striking familiar TikTok poses — prompting a fan to comment, “Kaka-online ko lang, ito na ba si Belen at Canino?”
Belen responded with a laugh, saying, “HAHAHAHA pati ako nalito,” while Canino followed up with, “HAHAHAHA queening daw tayo atecco.”
The lighthearted exchange came just ahead of the Alas Pilipinas Men’s campaign in the 2025 AVC Men’s Volleyball Nations Cup, which kicks off today, June 17, in Manama, Bahrain.
The men’s team, drawn into Pool C, will face Pakistan and Chinese Taipei in the group stage.

Fresh from a strong showing in the 2025 Invitationals — where they swept all their matches — the squad is looking to build on their momentum as they prepare for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship.
Meanwhile, Belen and Canino were part of the historic Alas Pilipinas Women’s team that clinched silver in the 2025 AVC Women’s Nations Cup earlier this month — the country’s best finish in the tournament to date.
