The Capital1 Solar Spikers aim to regroup and deliver a stronger performance as they take on the Cignal HD Spikers in their second outing in the PVL on Tour.
The Capital1 Solar Spikers are eager to bounce back quickly as they take on the red-hot Cignal HD Spikers in the PVL on Tour here at the Chavit Coliseum in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Monday, June 23.
Following a straight-sets loss to powerhouse Creamline in their opening match, Capital1 now faces another tough test against a Cignal squad riding high from a dominant sweep of Akari.
Without top rookie Bella Belen, who is currently with the national team, the Solar Spikers leaned on veterans Jorelle Singh, Iris Toleanda, and KC Galdones in their debut.
Defensive anchor Roma Mae Doromal, along with spikers Rovie Instrella and Shola Alvarez, also tried to spark the team, but the Cool Smashers’ firepower proved too much to handle.
Now, under the guidance of new head coach Jorge de Brito, Capital1 will look to show better cohesion and resilience in their second outing.
First serve is scheduled for 4:00 p.m., with the Solar Spikers seeking their first win of the tour.
