The Ateneo Blue Eagles moved into the top four of the UAAP Season 88 men’s volleyball standings after sweeping the UE Red Warriors, capping their opening-round campaign on a high note.

Ateneo rode a strong outing from Jian Salarzon to carve out a 25-14, 25-17, 25-20 sweep of the UE Red Warriors in the UAAP Season 88 men’s volleyball tournament on Saturday, March 14, at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Salarzon finished with 16 points built on 12 attacks and three blocks as the Blue Eagles broke a tie with the DLSU Green Spikers to move into solo fourth place in the standings at 3-4.
