Look who’s the latest to bring his talents to the Land of the Rising Sun.

Gilas Pilipinas big man Quentin Millora-Brown officially made the jump to Japan’s B.LEAGUE after signing with the Chiba Jets, the club announced on Friday, January 23.

Millora-Brown wasted no time embracing his new home, expressing excitement over joining one of the league’s premier teams.

“Hello Jets fans. I’m super excited to be a part of this amazing program. I’m looking forward to competing with the team in front of all of you and playing with Jets Speed and Jets Pride,” he said.

The Jets also released footage of the former UP Fighting Maroon already participating in team practices.

Millora-Brown now finds himself in elite company, teaming up with Japanese floor general Yuki Togashi and former NBA player Yuta Watanabe.

The trio is complemented by imports John Mooney and DJ Hogg, giving Chiba one of the deepest and most balanced lineups in the league.

Currently sporting a 24-6 record, the Jets are tied for second place with reigning champions Utsunomiya Brex, trailing only league leaders Nagasaki Velca (27-3).

QMB’s arrival also adds to the growing Filipino presence in Japan’s top-flight league.

The 25–year-old becomes the latest to join Dwight Ramos (Levanga Hokkaido), Kai Sotto (Koshigaya Alphas), Kiefer Ravena (Yokohama B-Corsairs), Ray Parks Jr. (Osaka Evessa), AJ Edu (Gunma Crane Thunders), and Francis Lopez (Fighting Eagles Nagoya).

Chiba returns to action against the Ryukyu Golden Kings on Saturday, January 24—an outing that could mark Millora-Brown’s much-anticipated B.LEAGUE debut.
