The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) is calling on the public to join as volunteers for Gilas Pilipinas’ upcoming home game in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers this December.

With limited slots available, the federation welcomes aspiring individuals to be part of the action as world-class basketball returns to the country anew.

Gilas Men will host Guam in the second of a home-and-away series on Monday, December 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ateneo Blue Eagle Gym.

The Philippines' tournament opener takes place in enemy territory three days earlier on Friday, November 28 at 5:00 p.m.

Gilas Men is in Group A alongside basketball powerhouses Australia and New Zealand besides Guam. Last month, the team added RJ Abarrientos, Quentin Millora-Brown, and Ange Kouame to the official pool of players for the tournament.
