Team Liquid PH bounced back in style, sweeping Yangon Galacticos to secure a spot in the M7 World Championship playoffs and keep its Golden Road bid alive.
Team Liquid Philippines secured a spot in the M7 World Championship playoffs after a commanding 2–0 sweep of Yangon Galacticos in Round 4 of the Swiss Stage on Thursday at the MPL Arena XO Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The victory ensured that both Philippine representatives advance to the knockout stage, keeping Team Liquid’s Golden Road ambitions firmly alive following their earlier setback to the Selangor Red Giants.
TLPH set the tone early in Game 1, controlling the map from start to finish and methodically building an 11,100 gold lead before closing out the opener in 21 minutes.
Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya spearheaded the charge, earning MVP honors after a series of crucial pickoffs on Htet “Stitch” Aung’s Granger that fueled Team Liquid’s objective-focused team fights.
Game 2 followed a similar pattern, with Yangon Galacticos briefly trading blows in the early minutes before Team Liquid gradually seized control by securing three Turtle objectives.
From there, Team Liquid surged forward and wrapped up the match in just 15 minutes, completing the sweep in emphatic fashion with Sanford' Yu Zhong.

The result marked a strong bounce-back for Team Liquid after their Round 3 loss to Selangor Red Giants.
