Jerom Lastimosa’s storied UAAP career with the Adamson Soaring Falcons has officially closed.

It wasn’t the ending that Lastimosa hoped for in Season 86 after dealing with an ACL injury that forced him to sit out in almost all of their games.

Fortunately, Lastimosa was able to take the court for one last time on Wednesday and deliver one last basket for the San Marcelino-based squad. He saw his college career come to a close after the Soaring Falcons bowed to the Ateneo Blue Eagles in their playoff match for the last Final Four spot, which also saw opposing coaches Tab Baldwin and Nash Racela get into a spat.

As fans and players continue to honor Lastimosa, his former Gilas Pilipinas teammate and roommate Kiefer Ravena decided to joke around with the King Falcon.

On his Instagram Story, Ravena, who recently met with vlogger Cong TV and Team Payaman in Japan, had a rather funny message for Lastimosa after his final UAAP game.

“Madami ka naman plato at prutas mauwi, cuhhh,” said Ravena. “Labyu roommate! Proud of you and recover well.”

But that wasn’t the end of Ravena’s message. He also jokingly hinted at the possibility of Lastimosa playing abroad.

“See you in…,” added Ravena, placing flag emojis of Japan, the Philippines, and South Korea.

Japan and South Korea, of course, are known to be the top destinations for Filipino hoopers, including former UAAP stars like Ravena, his brother Thirdy, Ray Parks Jr., Rhenz Abando, and RJ Abarrientos, among others.

Lastimosa, in fact, admitted prior to the season that he had offers to play overseas, but he chose to play one more year for Adamson to express his gratitude to the school.

Once Lastimosa fully recovers from his ACL injury, expect those overseas offers to come right away for him. Hey, maybe he and Ravena can be teammates again.
