When in doubt, trust in Brooke Van Sickle.
The three-time PVL MVP delivered anew as Nxled snapped its four-game losing streak with a 20-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-19 victory over ZUS Coffee in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the FilOil Centre in San Juan.

For the team captain, the win was the product of the group’s resilience and commitment to staying positive despite a tough stretch of losses.
"You know, just staying positive. think the team has been doing a fantastic job and same with our coaching staff," Van Sickle said during the post-game press conference.
"We're just staying positive and staying optimistic and hungry every single day we step in the gym."
Van Sickle credited the Chameleons' ability to remain united during the losing streak as a key factor in finally turning things around.

The 27-year-old spiker was backed by Jonah Sabete-Escamillan and MJ Phillips with 19 and 12 markers, respectively.
"I'm really proud of all the team, all the girls. We're able to learn from them. I mean, yeah, it's tough but I think we learned a lot of lessons and we're taking steps in the right direction," she said.
As captain, Van Sickle emphasized that leadership during difficult stretches meant ensuring the group stayed together rather than letting frustrations divide the team.
"I mean, the four-straight loss, it wasn't happy times. But we're able to stick together," she said.
"I think that's something super important for teams going through losing streaks, is to be able to stay together. Because going through tough times, it's easy to point fingers," she added.
