The 2025 PVL Invitational is officially down to three teams in contention, with Creamline, Cignal, and ZUS Coffee bowing out of the championship race after absorbing three losses in the tournament.

That leaves only the Chery Tiggo Crossovers and Japan’s Kobe Shinwa University battling for the second Finals seat and the right to challenge the PLDT High Speed Hitters for the crown.

The Crossovers boosted its bid with a commanding sweep of the shorthanded Thunderbelles, 25-17, 25-17, 25-23, on Tuesday, August 26, at the PhilSports Arena.

Cess Robles led the way with 17 points, while rookie Renee Peñafiel and veteran Ara Galang chipped in solid support.
