Jen Nierva sees a big change for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, which has led to solid back-to-back PVL campaigns.
Jen Nierva and the Chery Tiggo Crossovers are on the cusp of another PVL Finals appearance.
Coming off Alas Pilipinas duties, Nierva admitted it took some time to regain her rhythm, but recent performances in the 2025 Invitational have shown just how quickly she has settled back in.
This was capped off by her 11 excellent digs and 19 excellent receptions in Chery Tiggo's straight-set win against ZUS Coffee.
“I think yes, nakapag-adjust naman. The past two games, nakuha namin yung result which is good. And at the same time, I think slowly, tinatry lang namin maging consistent with how we work inside the court,” Nierva said during the post-game press conference.

Being away from the Crossovers, the 25-year-old libero got to see a major change in the squad, especially after the PVL on Tour Finals run.
“I think now, mas consistent ‘yung mga teammates ko. I think now, medyo na-figure out namin kung paano kami maglaro together. And we are not only leaning to one player to score for us, but it's a collective effort of everyone,” she noted.
Her international exposure with Alas Women has also given her a deeper sense of pride and urgency in the PVL, something she hopes will help fuel Chery Tiggo's push.
“I think being part of Alas, we have that pride of now that we're playing, we're now back playing sa PVL, I think we have to show kung ano yung na-gain namin from our Alas stint and to prove that we're doing something good also,” she added.
