Much has been left to be desired for 2025 PVL no. 2 pick Jean Asis as she wrapped up her initial stint with Galeries Tower for PVL on Tour.

After stumbling against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers at Dasmariñas Arena on Saturday, the Highrisers ended their preseason stint without a win.

While favorable team results are yet to come, Asis showed promise in her first six games by racking up the numbers and playing time with the Highrisers.

After ending their PVL on Tour campaign, Asis spoke about needing to do better for her team.

Coming out of the FEU program, Asis admitted that there was a lot more that she had to adjust to in the pros — especially when it came to addressing her errors in the game.

Unlike her stint in the UAAP where she could’ve shrugged off some of her errors and credit them as a simple “mistake,” she knows that the stakes are much higher in the PVL. Going up against older and better opponents, Asis said she’ll have to clean up her act.

Regardless of the results, Asis believed that there were some flashes of brilliance from Galeries Tower in the offseason games.

Despite winning only one set in their whole campaign, Galeries Tower has built a reputation of being a team that's hard to put away. Now, the Highrisers will need to figure out how to close games better.

Siguro short lang talaga, kinapos lang talaga kami pero I know yung team namin may kaya pang ibuga and kayang makipagsabayan sa other teams,” she said.
