Myla Pablo showed glimpses of her vintage form, making 15 points for the Petro Gazz Angels in their sweep of the Akari Chargers in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Myla Pablo delivered a standout performance as the Petro Gazz Angels swept the Akari Chargers, 28-26, 29-27, 25-18, in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday, December 5, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Pablo was named Player of the Game after leading the Angels with 15 points, built on 13 attacks, a block, and an ace. Her timely scoring and court presence anchored Petro Gazz's offense, especially in the tightly contested first two sets.
Brooke Van Sickle added 19 points, along with 13 excellent digs and five excellent receptions, as the Angels improved to 3-1.
Despite a 21-point effort from Ivy Lacsina, the Chargers could not keep pace and fell to 2-3, extending their losing skid to three matches.
Petro Gazz will next face PLDT on December 10, while Akari looks to bounce back against Chery Tiggo the same day.
