The PLDT High Speed Hitters flexed their muscles against the Capital1 Solar Spikers to remain perfect in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The PLDT High Speed Hitters continued their dominant start after overpowering the Capital1 Solar Spikers, 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the FilOil Centre in San Juan on Thursday, Feb. 12.
It was another commanding victory for the High Speed Hitters, which improved to 2-0 in the conference, while the Solar Spikers dropped to 1-2 in the standings.
After coming up short in the third set, Savi Davison took control early in the fourth to push PLDT to an 8-3 start. With momentum on their side, the High Speed Hitters built their biggest lead of the frame at 13-5.
Bella Belen singlehandedly tried to mount a comeback for Capital1, putting up a career-high 29 points. However, PLDT just had too much additional firepower with Kianna Dy, Alleiah Malaluan, and Majoy Baron making major contributions to seal the victory.
Dy was hailed the Player of the Game with 20 points on a 52% attacking efficiency.
PLDT will go for its third straight win against the Akari Chargers next Thursday, Feb. 19, still at the same venue.
