Do not give up.

This terse advice can bring out one's strength within, especially if it comes from the person you look up to: your dad.

Witnessing how his father lived his life, returning TNT playmaker Almond Vosotros now has a blueprint to follow as he trudges his own path.

Vosotros talks about his dad's tenacity, faith and conscientiousness with One Sports in time for the upcoming Father's Day.

One Sports: What’s your father’s name? How old is he?

Almond Vosotros: Quirino Vosotros. Si Papa ko, 74 na.

OS: What’s the best advice that your father gave you?

OS: Was that your mindset when TNT released you at the end of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup?

Kailangan, kahit wala akong team noon, magtrabaho akong maigi.

OS: What is one trait of your father that you would like to emulate?

Vosotros: Si Papa, kahit sobrang hirap ng buhay, he always does the right thing. 'Yon lang. Kahit alam mong down na down ka na, pilitin mong gawin 'yong tama palagi.

OS: Give a message to your dad for Father’s Day by completing the sentence:

Dad, I would like you to know that ____________.

Vosotros: I’m very happy na ako ang naging anak mo, Pa. Happy Father’s Day!
