The Choco Mucho Flying Titans outlast the Galeries Tower Highrisers in a five-set thriller to return to the win column in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The Choco Mucho Flying Titans put an end to their three-game losing skid after outlasting the Galeries Tower Highrisers, 26-24, 20-25, 22-25, 25-13, 15-12, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the FilOil Centre in San Juan on Thursday night, February 26.
Despite trailing 5-8 in the fifth set, the Flying Titans came roaring back behind a 5-0 run led by the returning Eya Laure, who missed the previous outing due to an abdominal injury.
Erika Deloria stepped up big time once more for the Highrisers to tie the game at 12-all.
But a crucial service error by Deloria, followed by Sisi Rondina’s cross-court attack, put Choco Mucho at match point.
In the following play, Choco Mucho called for a challenge during the long rally, which turned out successful after Gayle Pascual’s elbow touched the net, sealing the hard-fought victory.
The Flying Titans are now tied with the Highrisers and Farm Fresh Foxies with a 2-3 record.
Lorraine Pecaña was hailed as the Player of the Game with 15 points on seven attacks, blocks, and four service aces.
Up next for Choco Mucho will be the Nxled Chameleons on Tuesday, March 3, at the same venue.
