PBA

The year 2023 will forever be special for NorthPort Batang Pier star Arvin Tolentino. This was the year when he truly became a bona fide superstar in the PBA, with a Mythical Second Team nod to show for it.

He also won a gold medal with Gilas Pilipinas in the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

But it is in the PBA where the versatile forward has totally shown everyone that he can hang with the best of 'em. He already tallied a new career-high in the ongoing PBA Commissioner's Cup and has routinely torched opponents with his scoring onslaughts.

On Tuesday, Tolentino was feeling himself and posted a photo of him celebrating a bucket in their huge overtime win over the TNT Tropang Giga last December 1.

"Ballin’ like a villain," wrote the NorthPort star on Instagram.

San Miguel Beermen veteran Chris Ross, commented on the post, calling his Gilas Pilipinas teammate a "bucket-getter!"

Tolentino replied with three steaming emojis.

Von Pessumal, Tolentino's former teammate on the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Ateneo Blue Eagles, also chimed in with a fire emoji.

But it was NLEX Road Warriors star Kevin Alas, also Tolentino's Gilas Pilipinas teammate, who dropped the best comment.

"Thank you po sa gold," said Alas sarcastically, referring to the gold medal they both won in the Asian Games.

"No problem," responded Tolentino in jest.

The 28-year-old Tolentino balled out in the said OT victory over TNT, dropping a team-high 27 points, including five three-pointers. He also added nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block in another fine all-around performance.
