The Bossing are merely scratching the surface of their potential.
Blackwater Bossing coach Jeff Cariaso had a rude welcome in his first game calling the shots for the team in the PBA On Tour.
That’s because the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters dismantled the Bossing, 131-108 last Sunday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City. Blackwater also saw its three-game winning streak end that night.
Cariaso didn’t mind.
After all, the Bossing, who now tot a 6-4 win-loss record, are still getting acclimatized to the system Cariaso put in place. It’s all part of the process.
“There's a system we're putting into place now, so obviously hindi pa siya habits sa mga players,” he said in an article on the PBA website.
“So, that's part of it, part of the process. I told them keep grinding, keep learning, and the more time we have, the more time of understanding of what's expected.”
It doesn’t mean he is okay with losing, though.
The PBA legend wants Blackwater to end the preseason tournament on a high note on Sunday when they take on TNT Tropang Giga.
