Former PBA courtside reporter Selina Dagdag is now taking a stand against the unauthorized use of her image in an alarming online scam.

In a recent public statement, Selina revealed that an old video she filmed two years ago for a product she once endorsed has been unfairly manipulated and repurposed as part of an online scam.

“Two years ago, a video of me was produced for a product I used to endorse,” Selina shared. “Now the video has been unfairly cut, edited, new materials and fake voice overs were added … and it is now being used for scam under the guise of ‘Dr Eddy Healing Drops’.”

Selina clarified that she has no connection to the fraudulent product and urged the public to report the page behind the fake content.

“If you have the time, kindly please help report this page as a scam,” she wrote.

In 2022, Selina was diagnosed with Gestational Trophoblastic Neoplasia (GTN), a rare and malignant form of Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (GTD). Throughout her chemotherapy treatment and recovery, she leaned on her personal faith, which she continues to credit as a source of strength.

“Healing is only possible through the grace of our good Lord. To God be the glory alone,” she added.

Selina is focused on raising awareness about both her health journey and the dangers of digital misinformation. Her story highlights the importance of consent and caution in the age of AI-powered content.
