UAAP and PVL standouts Pia Ildefonso, Kennedy Batas, and Amil Pacinio have officially graduated from Ateneo de Manila University.
Several UAAP and PVL standouts from Ateneo de Manila University recently marked a major life milestone—college graduation—with heartfelt tributes posted on Instagram, offering a glimpse into their journeys both as student-athletes and individuals.
Former Farm Fresh Foxie Pia Ildefonso graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management, sharing a reflective and poetic message that captured the bittersweet end to her college life.
“College was okay :3 Thank you for the past 5 years, Ateneo! 💙🦅Down from the hill, into the world. With a heart still burning and a mind wide open to whatever comes next. Bit by bit, I lived it—quietly, imperfectly, fully mine. ‘Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final.’ – Rilke,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Kennedy Batas, the reigning UAAP Season 87 Men’s Volleyball MVP, earned his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Known for his powerful presence on the court, Batas shared his gratitude and pride through a moving post that reflected both humility and ambition.
“Forever grateful! Ateneo Education instilled in me the courage to dare, the passion to dream, and the resilience to chase my aspirations, [No matter how absurd (Leung, 2025)] Salamat Ateneo, Lagi’t lagi para sayo!,” he said.
Fellow Ateneo standout Amil Pacinio kept it short and sweet, posting his graduation photo with a simple message:
“Thank you for the wonderful 6 years ateneo ?,” he wrote.
These posts mark not just the end of a chapter, but also the continuation of a lifelong journey beyond the courts and classrooms.
From championship courts to commencement stages, these student-athletes exemplify what it means to go down from the hill—with purpose, pride, and gratitude.
